For more than 25 years, the Lifetime Learners Institute (LLI) at Norwalk Community College, a Norwalk-based non-profit, has offered a wide variety of courses for adults over 50. A free LLI open house is scheduled for March 16 at 12:15 p.m., and will include refreshments and a presentation on Australia by noted photographer David Pressler, a Rhode Island School of Design graduate.
A $50 membership includes many free courses and Lunch and Learns, musical performances, movies, and use of the library and cafeteria. Previous LLI courses have included car savvy fundamentals, ukulele lessons, genealogy, and a Martin Luther King, Jr. tribute.
